On Dec. 10, Beijing Time, the Knicks lost 107-119 at home to the Hornets. The Knicks'first-round rookie Kevin Knox came on as a substitute for 41 minutes. He scored 10 of 25 shots and 4 of 8 three-point shots, cutting the team's highest 26 points and 15 rebounds.
According to statistics, Kevin Knox became the first rookie player to score 25 points and 15 rebounds in a single game after Yao Ming in 2002.
Meanwhile, Knox was the first Nix rookie to win 25+15 after Patrick Ewing in 1985, and the first Nix substitute to win 25+15 after Al Harrington.
